Cadets must be 14 years to start the Bronze award and can expect it to take at least 6 months to complete. To complete the Bronze award cadets must complete a service skill, physical recreation and plan and prepare a 2 day venture. Cadets on average must spend at least 1 hour a week actively taking part in a service skill and physical recreation for 3 months. These can be run beside each other and do not have to be run concurrently. The mimmium age for the bronze award to be completed is 14 half with the award and badge being presented by the Squadron Commanding Officer. Many cadets at 2461 have achieved their bronze award. |
