Cadets must be at least 15 years to start the silver award and can expect it to take at least 6 month to complete. If the cadets are starting at silver level this can be extended for a year. To complete silver award cadets must complete a service over 6 months a skill and physical recreation for a total of 9 months (cadets can chose to do one over 6 months and the other over 3 months). Those starting at silver level must do an additional 6 months in either service or the longer of the skill or physical recreation. Cadets must be at least 15 half or 16 for those starting with silver to complete the award. The award and badge will be presented by the squadrons commanding officer. |
