Venture Adventure

[Home]->Flying
One of the many activities that attract young people to the air cadets is the chance to go flying.
All cadets will have the opportunity to learn to fly in the RAF training aircraft, the Grob Tutor.
Flight time is generally around 30 minutes with a highly experienced pilot, who will tailor the experience to suit your wishes.
Many cadets will take the chance to perform aerobatic manoveures such as loops, rolls & stall turns, but this is up to you.
During the flight, all cadets will have the chance to take control for themselves and see what it is like to fly with the RAF.

All of the instructors are ex RAF pilots themselves, who will happily talk to cadets about their experiences flying a wide range
of aircraft, including Harriers & Typhoons, allowing you to understand what day to day life is like as a pilot in the RAF.
