Shooting is one of the main activites for the Air Training Corps. In the ATC, you are able to shoot three types of rifle:
No.8, .22 Calibre

This is the basic cadet rifle. Cadets will have the chance to shoot this regularly, at an indoor 25 meter range. 		No.8 .22 calibre Lee Enfield rifle
2. L98A2, 5.56 Calibre

The L98 is the cadet version of the British Forces L85A2. This is fired on a monthly basis at "Wing Shoots" on a local RAF station. 		The L98A2 Cadet rifle
L81A2, 7.62 Calibre

The L81 is the cadet target rifle and is very rarely fired, maybe once every 4 months. When fired it is usually on a 300m range at Thetford. 		The L81A2 Cadet target rifle
